SMF started a 4-month Beauty & Wellness Training Programme in which women are trained in basic and advanced make-up and hair styling, mehendi design and machine usage. This way they can take the first step toward self-grooming while also becoming independent by working in beauty salons or starting their own business.

HP World on Wheels (WoW) Project

This project has been initiated with collaborators like BSG, NIT, MDMCT and HP to spread digital literacy, entrepreneurship training and citizen services through the PPP model in every corner of the country.

The bus is a mobile digital laboratory with 20 computers, a printer, a 65-inch touch panel that serves as a whiteboard and a display and sound system. The bus functions as a “Common Service Centre” for the e-learning of school children and provides digital literacy to all, with a special batch of women. Moreover, to take care of the sustainability aspect, the bus is solar panel powered on the roof.
