From Aakarshan to Saksham, we strive to make a change be it in imparting education, skills, or working towards inclusivity and contributing to key Sustainable Development Goals, we have been instrumental in fostering holistic development, reducing inequalities, and building meaningful partnerships. Together we build a brighter, inclusive tomorrow through impacting lives and erasing barriers.

Nilesh has been working since 2011, with about 6 years of experience in CSR.

He is a hard worker and a social catalyst with best community rapport skills. He has great experience of dealing with the stakeholders and the community. He takes care of different programmes at PAN India level which include Tally Programme, Infrastructural Projects Maintenance, replicating good practices among them. He is a B.A, a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering and has a certification in Computer and Tally.

Gaurav has a Diploma in Software Engineering and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work

He is working as an experienced CSR professional with demonstrated history of working in managing and evaluating social programmes at Spark Minda Foundation. He has a cumulative experience of 10 years in software engineering and in CSR. He is currently working across different verticals in social development, skill development and education sector. He encourages his students and brings out the best in them.

Balakrishnan is the Training Coordinator for Basic Computer & Tally PRO course in Aakarshan Center.

He has been working with Spark Minda Foundation since 2014. He has completed his Diploma in Information Technology (DIT).  He works for the development of the community in and around Vengadu village. Also, he has a good rapport with the community.

We firmly believe that empowerment and progress of underprivileged communities can yield enduring transformations to their livelihoods. My aspiration is to make meaningful contributions to society by addressing the needs of marginalized segments of our society.

CSR at this Group has never been about Compliance only. It has more to do with having a connect with the community, ensuring the development of the society we live in, having an equal platform for all; irrespective of their background. We have placed more importance in getting the job done rather than by whom it gets done. Skilling is an important aspect, which forms the basis of sustenance for any given individual. Hence, skilling is an area of utmost concern and has to be dealt with maximum attention.

Ishita is a development professional.

She has experience in Project management, Implementation, M&E and Consulting. She has completed her Bachelors in Political Science (Hons.) from Miranda house, University of Delhi and Masters in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She works with a team spirit and a positive approach and has good communication and management skills. She is a national-level basketball player and NCC cadet with C certificate. She has experience of working with development consulting firms and has interned with organizations like Invest India. Ishita is passionate about empowering communities and driving meaningful change through effective development practices.

Mohit Singh has joined Spark Minda Group as Manager – Sustainability.

He brings over five years of experience in the sustainability domain, having worked with leading organizations such as TATA Power, TATA Chemicals and KIPCO Group.

Throughout his career, Mohit has led and contributed to multiple projects spanning Sustainability Strategy, Net Zero and Decarbonization Roadmaps, Water Neutrality, Sustainability Audits and Reporting, Waste Circularity and ESG Ratings. His expertise lies in driving impactful sustainability initiatives that align business growth with environmental responsibility and long-term resilience.

Yasha holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor's in Geography from Banaras Hindu University. With hands-on experience through academic fieldwork and professional roles, she has worked with diverse communities across rural and urban settings. Her training included life skills sessions and career counseling with youth at Swechha and engagement with the Child Welfare Committee under the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Professionally, she worked with PRADAN in Bihar, focusing on community mobilization and grassroots development with tribal communities. She brings a deep understanding of community dynamics, a creative problem-solving approach, and a passion for co-creating sustainable solutions. Actively involved in debates, MUNs, and student-led initiatives like eco clubs and Bageecha (a queer collective), she remains committed to inclusivity, dialogue, and social change.

Gauri has recently joined Spark Minda Foundation as Executive – Support CSR.

She aspires to contribute meaningfully towards the Foundation’s vision by leveraging her academic background and professional experiences. She holds a PGDM in Rural Management from XISS, Ranchi and brings diverse exposure across both development and corporate sectors.

Gauri has worked with SMART Foundation as a freelancer, enhancing her liaisoning, documentation, and skill training abilities. During her internship with Alkem Laboratories’ CSR division, she contributed to program evaluation and employee volunteering initiatives. Prior to pursuing her post-graduation, she gained corporate experience with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance in the Bancassurance channel, managing insurance and portfolio services.

Utkarsha Wakode holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from Azim Premji University. With two years of work experience in the sustainable livelihood domain, she primarily focused on women empowerment and skill education domain. Currently, she serves as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Executive at Spark Mainda, where she aims to leverage her skills to make a positive impact through youth development.

Lalit is a computer and tally faculty of Aakarshan, Gurugram, in the organization.

He is also responsible for the community mobilization as well as to maintain strong relationships with the stakeholders. He is a keen and hardworking person who believes that there is neither a greater joy nor a greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.

Sangeetha holds both a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's degree in English.

Since she has been a teacher for fifteen years, she has grown to believe that every child deserves to get a high-quality education and should be taught in the right way. She uses her skills to explore the environment, relationships, institutions, and policies influencing individuals and families in an effort to enhance their living situations.

At Spark Minda, the act of responsible business was being implemented even before the introduction of CSR to the country. Thus, being a socially responsible company comes naturally to the members of the group. It isn’t something that had to be learnt about, rather it just needed some structuring of its own and hence the Spark Minda Foundation. The objective of our programmes is to involve the corporate in discharging their social responsibility with their innovative ideas and management skills with greater efficiency and better outcomes.

Uma Mageshwari joined SMF as a project coordinator.

She is an engineer and completed her B.A in electrical and electronics engineering. Her passion for social activities and community building stems from a genuine interest in understanding and supporting diverse perspectives. Over the years, she has actively participated in volunteer work, community events, and outreach programs. These experiences have not only allowed her to develop essential leadership and communication skills but have also provided her with a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by different groups within our society.  She seeks opportunities in SMF to contribute to social initiatives and lend a helping hand. She looks forward to collaborating with others who share this vision and make a positive impact together.

Harshita Sharma is the project coordinator for Uttarakhand unit.

She works in the area of executing a variety of project management administrative tasks,monitoring project progress and creating project status reports. Enhancing personality and basic skills like Spoken English in a community . She has done Master of Business Administration(Finance) and cleared CS (Company Secretarist) Foundation programme. She strongly believes in the role of  personality and communication skills as the major pillar for the smooth workforce proceedings and make sure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly.

Mohini Honawale has an experience of 5years in Fashion Designing and Tailoring.

She is a B. A graduate and has completed her Master’s in Fashion Management and Designing. She is confident and dedicated to the work she is doing for the community. She is a hard worker and loves to do her work passionately and wants to dedicate her life to the community.

Aas Mohammad is appointed as the Computer and Tally faculty for Uttar Pradesh.

Aas Mohammad has an overall experience of more than 3.5 years in the development sector. He is a graduate in Computer Applications, and is passionate about conserving the environment and developing self-sustaining communities. Aas has worked in the field of education and skill development in primary and upper primary government school. He is a hard worker and a social catalyst with best community rapport skills. He is also responsible for the community mobilization as well as to maintain strong relationships with the stakeholders.

CSR helps an organization to create an appealing image for its parent business. It not only aids to have a good rapport with the community within which it is located but also creates great representation with the businesses that it works with. With the wide spectrum of the CSR activities undertaken by the Spark Minda Foundation, the business units are always working to increase the revenue so as to indirectly benefit the communities at large with its programmes. The initiatives thus also act as an inspiration for the employees to put in hard work.

Kirti has in total 4years of work experience.

She has worked as an Import and Export Administrator and is currently working as a Beautician. She was once an Aakarshan student, it was her interest and will power which made her successful. She has not only helped herself to overcome difficulties but also to become an independent and self- motivated woman. She is always enthusiastic to try new things and to learn more. She has a Diploma in Export and Import Services, Diploma in Beauty and wellness and is currently pursuing ABTC.

Kiara is a passionate professional in the beauty and wellness industry. She has always been deeply fascinated by the art of transformation and enhancing natural beauty, which led her to pursue a 2-year professional course from VLCC, followed by a 4-month internship at VLCC. With expertise in fantasy makeup, airbrush makeup, advanced makeup looks, creative makeup, skin treatments, hair artistry, hairstyling, hair cutting and temporary nail extensions, she has dedicated herself to mastering the craft. She is also passionate about teaching aspiring makeup artists, helping them refine their techniques and build their confidence.

Snehal is a highly skilled fashion designer with over four years of experience in the industry.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has successfully completed both a diploma and a degree in fashion design. Committed to fostering skill development within the community, Snehal is passionate about empowering women to achieve their professional aspirations. Through her dedication and expertise, she strives to create opportunities for growth and learning, enabling individuals to enhance their capabilities in the field of fashion designing.

Sejal is a dedicated and experienced Beauty and Wellness Trainer at Spark Minda Foundation.

With a strong passion for holistic beauty and wellness, she has transformed her journey from an Aakarshan student into a self-motivated, independent professional. Sejal specialises in a wide range of beauty treatments, skincare routines and hair chemicalization procedures, ensuring comprehensive expertise in the field. She is currently pursuing a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree while also holding a certification as a Beauty and Wellness Trainer. Through her commitment to excellence, she empowers individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the beauty and wellness industry.

Kalaivani Natarajan holds a B.Tech in Information Technology and a Diploma in Fashion Designing and Aari Embroidery.

With her knowledge in the fashion field, she passionately engages in women's skill development in the community. She actively designs and implements training programs that empower women with sustainable livelihood opportunities. Her efforts bridge the gap between traditional skills and modern industry demands, fostering economic independence. Through her dedication, she continues to uplift underprivileged women, enabling them to build a better future for themselves and their families.

Shagun has joined as a faculty for the Beauty and Wellness programme in Uttarakhand

She is a B.Com graduate and has an advance cum professional course in cosmetology from VLCC institute. She has completed her advance course in chemical peels and she is always passionate about learning new things. After working as a freelancer for around 1.5 years as a makeup artist, she has now joined as a faculty for the Beauty and Wellness programme in Uttarakhand. With the mindset of empowering women, she wishes to bolster career growth for women in the community by upgrading them with advanced skill sets.

Pratibha is the Beauty and Wellness programme trainer for Haryana

She and has been working with Spark Minda Foundation since 2019. She has an experience of 5.6 year in her field. She also handles community management and encourages them for upgrading themselves according to new technology. Pratibha also believes that every individual must be given a fair chance in the community irrespective of any tags. She works with full enthusiasm to train every person that she can. She has completed her B.A., apart from this she also has done her Diploma in Jawed Habib’s advance hair course and advance makeup course with a Jijabai ITI Diploma in Cosmetology.

Ashwini has a Masters degree in Social work.

Ashwini has a Masters degree in Social work. She is diligent and a committed professional with good experience in project planning, execution, coordination, monitoring, and reporting. She is highly committed and self-driven to make a positive difference in the communities and marginalised groups of Murbad.

Spark Minda Group has always been setting benchmarks for itself, be it with its community development programmes or with its business integrated projects. The group has remarkably achieved great heights and made sure that the programmes are not only beneficial for the community but also are able to sustain the community. The initiatives taken up are carefully designed around the SDGs and the programmes taken up by the Indian Government. Achieving the necessary outcomes for various programmes are ensured by the team working at the ground level and also by the support and cooperation of our various stakeholders and partners. Implementation and Scalability is what makes a project stand out and we are fortunate enough to have members striving for perfection.

Shubhi holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

With a robust experience of 5+ years in organisations like Shiv Nadar Trust and Avanti Fellows, Shubhi has dedicated her career to fostering education, accessibility, and sustainability. Specialising in projects involving education, skill development and community based interventions, she now leads Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability at Spark Minda Foundation.

Deepak Tiwari, a community development professional with over 5 years of experience in CSR.

Deepak Tiwari, a community development professional with over 5 years of experience in the sector is currently working as the Senior Executive CSR at Spark Minda Foundation, where he oversees the Aakarshan Skill Development Centre in Murbad. Deepak holds a dual Masters degree, having completed both a Master of Social Work and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. He firmly believes in the power of grassroots initiatives and actively engages with community members to identify their needs and empower them through skill development initiatives.

Savita Dhiman has her Diploma in Fashion Technology and graduation in Bachelor of Arts

She has an overall experience of 19 years in her relevant field. She has a rich experience in dealing with stakeholders, audience and community ranging from rural to semi-urban population, with an expertise to understand and communicate with them at all levels. She believes that her greatest victory is in bringing about a positive change in the lives of underprivileged children and women.

Shorna Mala holds a Bachelor degree in commerce from SDNB Vaishnav College for women in Chennai.

She has one and half year experience in the area of Digital marketing as well. She is now a team member of the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives at Spark Minda Foundation and looks forward to the development of Society and Environmental growth.

Uma Rakshe, a proud alumna of Spark Minda Foundation's Tally course, is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Pune University. Her journey came full circle when she got the opportunity to join the foundation as a trainer for the Computer and Tally course. Passionate about teaching, Uma is committed to equipping students with valuable knowledge and skills, empowering them for a brighter future.

Sakshi Verma

Sakshi Verma holds a Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Delhi University and MBA in Hospital and Health Management with a specialisation in Health Management from IIHMR University. She interned as an Operations Manager at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Currently, she works as a Programme Coordinator in CSR at Spark Minda Foundation.

Raju Kumar is the training coordinator of computer, tally and accountancy.

He has been working in Spark Minda Foundation since 2014 at Project Office, Uttarakhand. He has completed his B.A, Diploma in Computer Application and Tally. He coordinates the community infrastructure projects and is actively involved in all the activities which are provided to the society. He is associated with the organisation from it’s initiation. Raju is a compassionate man who believes that the life of a man is not in seeing visions and in dreaming dreams, but in active charity and in willing service.

Vijay is a dedicated individual currently pursuing his B.Com. degree while also possessing valuable experience in the field of accounts. With a strong work ethic and a firm belief in the power of creating meaningful impacts, Vijay's outlook on life is centered around the idea that there is no greater satisfaction or reward than being able to bring about fundamental positive changes in the lives of others.

Deepak has 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounts & Auditing.

He is a CA-Intermediate G1, a B. Com graduate and has completed his MBA in Finance. He believes in systematic funding for the resources. He is taking care of finance & accounts of Spark Minda Foundation and makes sure that the allocated resources are utilised well and helps the community for upliftment.

Deeshita is a young, creative and energetic Management Professional having an experience of around 4 years in the Corporate and Development Sector. Client liaison and partnernship is her forte. She has an experience of partnering with State Government Organizations, top corporate firms such as Bain Capital, Tata, and PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., etc. Apart from partnerships, Deeshita also has experience in corporate communications, social media management, monitoring and evaluation, content writing as well as capacity building.

The Group has always been a part, like a family that’s always there around. The programmes and projects taken up by the foundation are always an upscale. They are holistic and cater to majority of the aspects concerning the global world. Every initiative taken up by the foundation has a set target and the achievement of the same ensures a positive influence in the community.

Komal shrivastava, 23 years old, recently completed her degree in bachelor's of prosthetics and orthotics from All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai. In this unique and noble profession, she wants to serve People with Disabilities in each and every possible way as a prosthetist and orthotist. She wants to apply every bit of her practical knowledge to assist PwDs in making them physically independent and empowered.

Tarun is a dedicated Prosthetist and Orthotist with over 5 years of experience. He specializes in providing prosthetic and orthotic aids, contributing his skills to Foundation. He is actively involved in both fitment and at Empowerment of PwDs camps, ensuring accessibility to essential mobility aids for those in need.

A development sector professional with over two years of experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement, and impact communication. She brings strong expertise in documentation, reporting, proposal development, and managing partnerships, with a proven ability to translate field-level insights into meaningful narratives. Driven by a commitment to social impact, she supports the Foundation’s initiatives through strategic communication, coordination, and collaborative engagement.

Amisha Ghansela has been associated with Spark Minda Foundation since 2025. As a Spoken English Faculty, she trains learners to build confidence, communication skills, and workplace readiness. She also supports mobilisation and coordinates with community members during programmes and activities. Amisha actively volunteers in Foundation initiatives and contributes to creating an encouraging learning environment for students.

Sumedh Lawhale is a dedicated Prosthetist and Orthotist and the lead of Saksham Programme at Spark Minda Foundation. With 9 years of experience in the field

He specializes in designing, fitting and managing prosthetic and orthotic devices that improve the quality of life for individuals with limb loss or mobility challenges. His role involves working closely with PwDs to understand their unique needs and lifestyles and creates custom solutions that enhance their comfort and functionality. He is passionate about leveraging the latest advancements in technology and materials to deliver high-quality, personalized care. He is committed to providing compassionate support and innovative solutions that empower the PwDs to live more fulfilling lives.

Priyanka has been working with the organisation since 2025. She is a postgraduate and has certification in basic Computer and Tally prime. She also coordinates with stakeholders and community level programmers while taking care of students' exposure visits and guest lecturers. She always volunteers for initiatives and empowers activities at the ground level.

I, Priyanka Chandra, graduated in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities and later completed my master's in clinical psychology from IGNOU. My work experience has given me the opportunity to work closely with individuals with disabilities, helping them not only with physical rehabilitation but also with their emotional and psychological wellbeing.
