Yasha holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor's in Geography from Banaras Hindu University. With hands-on experience through academic fieldwork and professional roles, she has worked with diverse communities across rural and urban settings. Her training included life skills sessions and career counseling with youth at Swechha and engagement with the Child Welfare Committee under the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Professionally, she worked with PRADAN in Bihar, focusing on community mobilization and grassroots development with tribal communities. She brings a deep understanding of community dynamics, a creative problem-solving approach, and a passion for co-creating sustainable solutions. Actively involved in debates, MUNs, and student-led initiatives like eco clubs and Bageecha (a queer collective), she remains committed to inclusivity, dialogue, and social change.
